Marlon Randolph

Marlon Randolph the man, and the brand. He was born in the deep, deep south and raised in Detroit, Mi . With an Associates Degree in Arts, Marlon’s eyes were always set on the stage. He wanted to become the next biggest rapper in hip-hop.

The only problem was after watching him rap all people would do was laugh, which let him know right away, he was in the wrong profession. From 1989-1995 he worked at a concert venue called State Theatre and he got approached by Chicago executive comedy producer Raymond Lambert. Working the door from 1995-1998 at All Jokes Aside for Raymond Lambert, is when he was able to watch great entertainers such as Steve Harvey, Cedric the entertainer, Chris rock, Tommy Davidson.
Ever diligent in his desire to continue the path of success he moved to New York City. Honing his craft in comedy clubs throughout New York City, gave Marlon a chance to develop his skill-set while working on things like timing. He started to bark (Do street promotions) in exchange for stage time, at HA! COMEDY CLUB. After performing one time for the club they asked him to host 25 shows a week. The experience at HA! landed him headlining gigs at their club in VA. As a result of the opportunities provided with Ha! Marlon would begin to create his own shows all over, New York just to get better and have tight timing.
